What is The Dungeon?

The Dungeon is a maze-like gamemode added in Update 30, where a procedurally generated map spawns when summoned. Each room will have an altar that, upon activated (Altar turns red), summons enemies for the room. The doors will open, once all enemies have been cleared from the room (Altar turns green). There is a 30-minute (40-Minutes in Hellish Difficulty) time limit to finish the dungeon (after the Boss Room is completed, if there are more than 5 minutes on the timers, the time will be set to 5 minutes).

There you can find 4 types of rooms:

  • Enemies rooms (Grey) - the majority of the rooms, where you fight enemies from the selected world
  • Chest Rooms (Yellow) - Rooms with 1 to 3 chest that have the loot
  • Boss Room (Red) - Single room where you fight the Boss and some other enemies (Hellish Dungeons have 2 boss rooms)
  • Boss Chest Room (Green) - After defeating the boss you will be able to enter this room. It has 3 to 4 chests with more loot than normal Chest Room chests

Dungeons have a 12-hour cooldown before another can be summoned. (Can be cut to 1h19m32s using the Artifact of Passage).

Summoning

Dungeons can be summoned when the current last map has been unlocked. A Dungeon Token is required to summon a Dungeon.

Dungeon Tokens can be obtained in the following ways"

The door is on the right side of the Challenge Hub, in between the Artifacts Altar and Impossible Time Trials. It is a gold door with a red crown on the middle. Walking close to the door will allow the UI to be opened, which can configure the dungeon and can summon a dungeon.

Pressing Configure Dungeon sets the type of enemies and rewards (Shards) for the dungeons, the size of it and if is Public or Private (Friends Only).

Rewards

The following can be dropped from Normal and Boss Chests in The Dungeon

  • All colors of Fragments (Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, Orange & Purple)
  • Shards from the selected world
  • Shiny Potions (In Hardcore Mode, dungeons and codes are the only place you can get them)
  • Normal Passive Tokens (Event Passive Tokens when completing an Event World Dungeon)
  • Requiem Passive Tokens
  • Illusionist Ticket
  • Defense Mode Tokens
  • Mythic , Secrets and Divines Fruits
  • Dungeon Tokens
  • Super Time Boost
  • Time Boost
  • Clone Tokens
  • Passive Luck Potion
  • Cursed Orbs have a 1/25 (4%) chance to drop from chests in Small, Medium, and Large Dungeons, and a 1/10 (10%) chance to drop from chests in Insane and Hellish Dungeons.
  • Demonic Tokens (1/15 chance, Only in Insane & Hellish Dungeons)
  • Demonic Fruit (Only in Insane & Hellish Dungeons)
  • Event Tokens (1/100 Chance from Hellish Chests)
  • Gears (Green, Grey, Yellow, Red, and Blue) (Only in Hellish Dungeons)
  • ??? Keys (Only in Hellish Dungeons)

Note: 1-10 Demonic Fruit is guaranteed from Insane & Hellish Dungeon Chests, based on the chests rarity, regardless of damage dealt to the chest.

Trivia

  • In the launch, Dungeons had a cooldown of 24h;
  • It had existed an exploit/bug that would let other people enter private Dungeons;
