What they are:
Fragments are items added in Update 31 of the game, alongside Sorcerer Empire. When added, they could only be obtainable by doing dungeons and had no purpose. In Update 32, they received a function with the addition of Artifacts.
They are used to craft, upgrade, and prestige your Artifacts. They are also used in crafting Relics.
You can obtain them by doing Dungeons and Infinity Towers, with Infinity Tower being the best method to obtain them.
In Update 59 the Fragment Evolution Machine was added, allowing the conversion of different colored fragments.
