Overview
Time Trials are a feature added in Update 3. Each Time Trial has 50 rooms split up into 5 room sections. You have 5 minutes to clear 4 rooms either by yourself or working with others. In a room, there is a boss and multiple enemies or Chests. On every fifth room players can press a button on an altar to unlock the next set of rooms, resetting the timer. The Time Trial ends when you run out of time, reach the final room (Room 50), or teleport out.
Upon killing an enemy, they always drop Yen, but there is a chance for them to drop a Time Trial Shard. With a high enough Drops Stat, enemies will always drop Time Trial Shards as well. Chest will drop Time Trial Shards, World Shards from the World the Trial Room is based on, and a 33% chance to drop Aura Shards. Drops from the Chests depend on your Drops Stats.
For the Lesser-Insane Time Trial, you can gain 2 extra Star Opens and an extra Equip. For the Godly Time Trial, there are only 2 extra Star Opens.
Each Trial has a difficulty that gets progressively harder.
Rewards
The rewards vary from Time Trial Shards, World Shards, Aura Shards, and Achievements (Need to get to a certain room in each Trial).
Time trial shards can be spent in the Time Trial Shop, where you can buy buffs, potions, tokens, upgrades, and licenses.
World Shards can be used to roll passives and make crafted fighters.
Aura Shards have a 33% chance to be in Time Trial Chests.
Achievements are room-locked rewards, normally they will be obtained by achieving rooms like 20, 40, and 50. The reward can be a +1 Unit Equip or +1 Star opened.

Trivia:
- When the trials were released, it only existed as the Infinity Time Trial, where you could go to more than 50 rooms. Every room would be harder, but the system of 5 Minutes for 5 rooms is still the same.
- Private Servers had a button to skip to the 50th room, to speed up the process to complete the Infinity Time Trial.
- On Update 30, the name of the Time Trial Hub was changed to Challenge Hub
